At least in AU OpenAI has 'dumbed down' ChatGPT's medical capabilities for various, mainly legal, reasons. I doubt that trend will continue with ChatGPT.
I was thinking the same thing, but the competitive pressure from Grok and other Chinese models which are not as limited may make OpenAI follow suit. They're releasing an adult mode soon which may be a bit more permissible
